My Story

I'm just your not-so-average creative soul living her life the best she knows how. I'm a small town Southern girl with lots of heart, sass, and sense of humor that likes to feed that into her art, design, and writing.

I love helping others with their design needs, and other needs, as well. I'm a giver...and a lover, not a fighter. All great qualities, whether you are looking for business cards or a best friend.

This is my passion. I went to school for Illustration, minoring in English and Art History, pretty much cementing my fate of never really being able to use my degree to land a job, but I did it because I loved it.

Now I want to take my love and passion and offer others quirky, unique, and memorable designs for reasonable prices.

I was born and raised in Richmond County, NC, with a three year detour in Anniston, Alabama, before I landed myself in Charlotte, at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. I eventually made my way into the BFA program, under Illustration, though my graphic design skills flourished as well. I spent every year working with Sanskrit Literary-Arts magazine, building a publication from scratch and gaining so many essential skills in the publications industry.

In the decade I spent in the big city, I also expanded my journalistic endeavors by interning with Creative Loafing, and also contributing with other small publications, as well as online magazines and blogs.

I'm now back in my hometown awaiting my next big step in life.
